AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 35/51.

Beechcraft 35 (Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 35/51 Front Seat Restraint Installation 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1976, withdrew approval of front seat restraint installation to Civil Flying Services Drawing No. 1010, and replaced it with an upper torso restraint modified to a scheme approved by the then Secretary.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 31 December 1976.

All affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, so the AD is no longer required.

Delegate of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority
