AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 35/37.

Beechcraft 35 (Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 35/37 Fuel and Hydraulic Lines
in Engine Compartment
5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD required the replacement of aluminium alloy fuel and hydraulic lines on the engine side of the firewall, with approved fire resistant lines or hose assemblies, or relocate lines behind the firewall, in compliance with ANO 101.22, paragraph 6.25.1.  Compliance was within 200 hours TIS after 30 November 1972.  As all affected aircraft would have been modified, the unsafe condition no longer exists.

Also, as ANO 101.22 has been cancelled, the requirements of this directive are no longer appropriate or necessary.
