AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 35/18.

Beechcraft 35 (Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 35/18 Insulation of Ammeter Terminals 5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was issued against Beechcraft Service Bulletin's (SB) published in 1956, rather than a State of Design AD.  The manufacturer required a modification to insulate the ammeter terminals to reduce the possibility of a short circuit across the terminals.  Compliance with the AD was forthwith.

The above mentioned SB's were for: Model 35 No. 34, Model A35 No. 25, Model B35 No. 18, Model C35 No.16, Model D35 No.11, Model E35 No.10, Model F35 No. 8 and Model G35 No.6.

As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, and no State of Design AD is applicable, it is considered that the unsafe condition no longer exists.
