AD/BEECH 35/17 Tachometer Shaft Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 35/17.
Beechcraft 35 (Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/BEECH 35/17 | Tachometer Shaft | 5/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD was issued against Beechcraft Service Bulletin's (SB) published in 1955, rather than a State of Design AD. The manufacturer required inspection of the tachometer shaft for droop between the firewall and instrument panel to ensure that the routing, or clamping, of the tachometer shaft did not allow it to interfere with the control column aileron scissors in full right position and nose down elevator. Compliance with the AD was forthwith. The above mentioned SB's were for: Model 35 No. 31, Model A35 No. 20, Model B35 No. 13, Model C35 No.14, Model D35 No. 9, Model E35 No.8 and Model F35 No. 5. As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, and no State of Design AD is applicable, it is considered that the unsafe condition no longer exists. |
