AD/BEECH 35/16 Pitot and Static Pressure Line Routing Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 35/16.
Beechcraft 35 (Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/BEECH 35/16 | Pitot and Static Pressure Line Routing | 4/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD was issued against Beechcraft Service Bulletin's (SB) published in 1955, rather than a State of Design AD. The manufacturer required inspection and correction/replacement of the pitot and static pressure lines after cases of inaccurate airspeed indicator readings had been traced to pitot and static pressure hoses at the back of the instrument panel being misrouted during maintenance or equipment installation in the field. Compliance with the AD was forthwith. The above mentioned SB's were for: Model 35 No. 29, Model A35 No. 21, Model B35 No. 14, Model C35 No.12, Model D35 No. 7 and Model E35 No.6. As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, and no State of Design AD is applicable, it is considered that the unsafe condition no longer exists. |
