AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 33/8.

Beechcraft 33 and 35-33 (Debonair/Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 33/8 Engine Mount Bolt Nut 4/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1970, required a one-off inspection to determine that non-ferrous nuts had not been inadvertently installed in place of steel nuts on engine mount bolts in accordance with Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) 0396-241, rather than a State of Design AD.  The inspection was to be accomplished within 25 hours TIS after 21 August 1970.

As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, it is considered that the unsafe condition no longer exists.
