AD/BEECH 33/31 Amdt 1 Sponge Filled Fuel Reservoir Tanks Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 33/31 Amdt 1.
Beechcraft 33 and 35-33 (Debonair/Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/BEECH 33/31 Amdt 1 | Sponge Filled Fuel Reservoir Tanks | 4/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, issued in 1986, required inspection and removal of the foam material in the fuel cell reservoir assembly in accordance with Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) 2109, rather than a State of Design AD. The inspection was to be in accordance with the manufacturers SB, accomplished every 50 hours TIS until the next schedule inspection at which time the foam material in the fuel cell reservoir assembly must be replaced. As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, it is considered that the unsafe condition no longer exists. |
