AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

Beechcraft 19, 23 and 24 Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 23/38 Control Column Bearing Assemblies 4/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1978 against manufacturer’s mandatory Service Instruction (SI) 1017.  The SI required inspection of the control column bearing assemblies for indications of filing or grinding in the weld area.  As compliance with this AD was required within 100 hours TIS after 31 May 1979, all aircraft will have been inspected long ago.  Hence, the AD is no longer required.
