AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 23/37.

Beechcraft 19, 23 and 24 Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 23/37 Engine Hose Assembly 4/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD) was raised against manufacturer’s mandatory Service Instruction (SI) 0998 rather than an FAA AD.  This SI required some flexible hose fittings made by the Deutsch Company be replaced.  Compliance with this AD was required within 100 hours TIS after
31 October 1978.  As all affected aircraft would now comply with this AD, the unsafe condition no longer exists.
