AD/BEECH 23/32 Engine Firewall Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 23/32.
Beechcraft 19, 23 and 24 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/BEECH 23/32 | Engine Firewall | 1/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 17 January 2008. | |
Background: | This is a unique Australian AD requiring a doubler modification of the fire wall. This was a one off modification, issued in October 1976, to provide increased protection to the lower right hand side of the firewall by blocking an existing hole. It applies only to certain aircraft serial numbers. All aircraft on the Australian register would long have been modified in accordance with this AD, and it is therefore obsolete. |
