AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 200/44 Amdt 1.

Beechcraft 200 (Super King Air) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 200/44 Amdt 1 Rear Fuselage, Stabilisers
and Fin Sealing and Draining
4/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.

Background:

This AD, originally issued in 1985, required drain holes to be drilled rear of the pressure bulkhead after instances of elevator trim jamming during icing conditions.  The AD was subsequently amended (1989) to include a manufacturer SB requirement to improved sealing of the horizontal stabiliser and dorsal fin.  As all aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, the AD is no longer required.
