AD/BEECH 200/29 Amdt 1 Fuselage Avionics Compartment Floor Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 200/29 Amdt 1.

AD/BEECH 200/29 Amdt 1 Fuselage Avionics Compartment Floor 4/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.
Background:	This AD was raised against manufacturer’s mandatory Service Instruction (SI) 1068 and 1068 R1. These SI’s required the provision of a seal to reduce the possibility of water entering the avionics compartment, which could possibly cause failure of some or all of the avionic equipment. As this AD required one time action within 100 hours after 31 January 1980, all aircraft would have been modified long ago. Hence, the AD is no longer required.
