AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 200/25.

Beechcraft 200 (Super King Air) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 200/25 Flap Safety Switch Linkage 4/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised against manufacturer’s mandatory Service Instruction (SI) 0961.  This SI required an inspection to ensure that the flap safety switch linkage is installed correctly.  The links were to be disconnected and reconnected and/or removed and replaced with new links as necessary.  As compliance with this AD was required within 100 hours TIS after 30 April 1978 it is considered the unsafe condition no longer exists.  Also as the requirement was promulgated in 1978, and this AD was not subject to an FAA AD, this AD is considered obsolete.
