AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 200/23 Amdt 1.

Beechcraft 200 (Super King Air) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 200/23 Amdt 1 Inboard Aileron Hinge Arms 4/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised against manufacturer’s mandatory Service Instruction (SI) 0915 and 0915 R1. This SI required replacement of the two rivets which secure the inboard aileron hinge arm to the wing trailing edge rib with Hi-Locs with greater shear strength. As this AD required action within 100 hours TIS after 30 June 1978, all aircraft will have been modified long ago. Hence, this AD is obsolete.
