AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

Beechcraft 200 (Super King Air) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 200/17 Nacelle Wheel Well Fender Installation 4/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1977 against manufacturer’s mandatory Service Instruction 0897 applicable to aircraft manufactured with high flotation landing gear.  The SI required inspection of the main gear wheel well fender installation for possible loose rivets and modification of wheel well fender brackets.  The inspection was required at the next 100 hour inspection after 31 July 1977 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS until modified prior to the accumulation of 500 hours TIS.  As all aircraft would long have been modified, this AD is no longer required.
