AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 200/13 Amdt 1.

Beechcraft 200 (Super King Air) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 200/13 Amdt 1 Aft Cowling Door Forward Latch Pin 4/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised against manufacturer’s mandatory Service Instruction 0870-243 and 0870-243 Rev 1 which required a one-off inspection and possible modification (originally within 25 hours TIS, and later models within 100 hrs TIS) to ensure the latch pins on the forward end of the aft cowling doors properly engage.  As the requirement was a one time inspection in 1977 and 1981, the AD is no longer required.
