AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 1900/30.

Beechcraft 1900 Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 1900/30 Electrical Loom Inspection 11/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1999 required an inspection, repair and report following a local operator report of an in-flight fire caused by the landing light electrical wire chaffing and shorting on to a fuel line.

Compliance was:  Before next flight and within 10 days of accomplishing this directive.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been inspected by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
