AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 1900/11.

Beechcraft 1900 Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 1900/11 Fuselage Canted Bulkhead 10/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 24 September 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1995 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No. 2564, Rev. 1, required a visual inspection and modification of the canted bulkhead at fuselage station 588.10 following report by the manufacturer of cracks being found in the outer flange radius cut outs, lightening holes and the rudder pulley bracket attach angles.

There are no reports of defects in the mandatory reporting system following compliance with this AD, and a detailed inspection procedure is now contained in the appropriate maintenance manual for inspection in the affected area.  This AD is therefore no longer required.
