AD/BEECH 18/22 Main Landing Gear Drag Legs, Drag Leg Bolts and Retract Slide Assemblies Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 18/22.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD specified periodic x-ray inspection of drag legs nominated by Part No. in Service Instruction No. 1183 until drag legs were modified by reinforcing and internal corrosion treatment in accordance with SI No. 1183.  Inspection was required at intervals not exceeding 1500 hours time in service.  Use of an AD to mandate this inspection is no longer warranted.
