AD/BEA 206/5 Nose Landing Gear Spring Box Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEA 206/5.

AD/BEA 206/5 Nose Landing Gear Spring Box 7/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1969 against Beagle Service Bulletin (SB) No. B206/30 (modification 842), required a modification to the nose landing gear spring box to prevent the possibility of the nose landing gear failing to lock down.  Compliance was required within 200 hours TIS from 1 August 1969.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
