AD/BEA 121/10 Rudder Drain Hole Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEA 121/10.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 2 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1972, required a modification to ensure satisfactory drainage of moisture within the rudder by providing a suitable drain hole in the lower rudder area.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 28 April 1972.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
