Background: | Reports were received of corrosion at Frame 29 wing-to-fuselage attachment lug plate joint. The manufacturer has issued ISB 53-213, which replaces current MRB Report SSI and CPCP tasks as they are not considered adequate for finding corrosion in the affected area. This condition, if not detected and corrected, could result in a degradation of the structural integrity of Frame 29 and the wing-to-fuselage attachment. |
