AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/B767/64.

Boeing 767 Series Aeroplanes

AD/B767/64 Fire Protection - Detection - Smoke
Detector Inspection
11/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1992 against Boeing Alert Service Bulletin (ASB) No. 767-26A0081 required an inspection/modification to ensure the correct type of decal was installed on the equipment cooling and cargo compartment smoke detectors.

Compliance was:  By 30 June 1992.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected aircraft to have been inspected/modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
