AD/B767/42 Fuel Tank Access Doors Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/B767/42.

AD/B767/42 Fuel Tank Access Doors 11/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1990 against Boeing Alert Service Bulletin (ASB) No.
767-28A0019, required a modification to provide fuel tank access doors with increased resistance to penetration from engine debris or objects thrown by aircraft tyres.  Compliance was required before 30 October 1991.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
