AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/B767/11.

Boeing 767 Series Aeroplanes

AD/B767/11 Main Landing Gear Drag Brace Upper Spindle 11/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1986 against Boeing Service Bulletin (SB) No. 767-32-0044, required an inspection to identify (and replace) main landing gear drag brace upper spindles which were susceptible to fatigue cracking and fracture.  Compliance was required before exceeding 9,000 landings.

The requirement document is the subject of Airworthiness Limitations in the aircraft MPD.  Hence, this AD is no longer required.
