AD/B767/10 Main Landing Gear Shock Strut Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/B767/10.
Boeing 767 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/B767/10 | Main Landing Gear Shock Strut | 11/2009 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009. | |
Background: | This AD, raised in 1986 against Boeing Service Bulletin (SB) No. 767-32-0045, required an inspection, and possible rework, of the main landing gear shock strut outer cylinder for possible cracking and fracture at the torsion link attach pin lubrication holes. Compliance was required before exceeding 18,000 landings. The requirement document is the subject of Airworthiness Limitations in the aircraft MPD. Hence, this AD is no longer required. |
