AD/B737/285 State of Design Airworthiness Directives (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.001(1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.
Boeing 737 Series Aeroplanes

Applicability: | Boeing Model 737-100 and -200 series aeroplanes. | ||
Requirement: | 1. Determine the applicability of the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airworthiness Directives (AD) listed in Table 1. | ||
| 2. If it is determined that a FAA ADs is applicable and has not been previously accomplished, perform the actions required by that AD. | |||

Compliance: | For Requirements 1 and 2 - Within 30 days after the effective date of this Directive. | ||
| This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 8 June 2006. | |||
Background: | The FAA ADs listed in Table 1 of this Directive require one time actions for which the compliance date and/or period has passed. CASA has determined that these ADs may be applicable to recently registered Australian aircraft. This Directive is issued to ensure all State of Design ADs are complied with. |
