Compliance:

For Requirements 1 and 2 - Within 30 days after the effective date of this Amendment.

This Amendment becomes effective on 31 August 2006.

Background:

The FAA ADs listed in Table 1 of this Directive require one time actions for which the compliance date and/or period has passed.  CASA has determined that these ADs may be applicable to recently registered Australian aircraft.  This Directive is issued to ensure all State of Design ADs have been complied with.

This Amendment introduces two additional FAA ADs (89-22-04 and 2001-16-11) to Table 1, which were omitted from the original issue of this Directive.

The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 8 June 2006.
