AD/AUS/8 Lift Strut Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AUS/8.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 30 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1950, required an inspection of all lift struts not sealed at manufacture for signs of internal corrosion and treat accordingly.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
