Background: | This AD, raised in 1950, required a modification by replacing upper and lower engine mount attaching bolts marked "NEWTON" and replacing with high tensile steel bolts to B.S.S. Specification No. 2A.15. Compliance was required forthwith. As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required. |
