Auster/Beagle A.61 Series Aeroplanes

AD/AUS/13 Wing Root Fairing Band 10/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 24 September 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1959, was applicable to all models fitted with metal wing root fairing bands, and required an inspection of the bands for security and freedom from chaffing and cracks.  Compliance was required at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS.

There are no records related to this AD contained in the mandatory defect reporting system, and maintenance schedules adequately cover inspections of the wing.  Hence, this AD is no longer required.
