Auster/Beagle A.61 Series Aeroplanes

AD/AUS/10 Rudder Cables and Elevator Trim Tab Cables 8/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 30 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1955, required an inspection and possible replacement of rudder cables and elevator trim tab cables.  Compliance was required initially upon the cables or wires completing 100 hours TIS and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 50 hours TIS.

Requirements for inspection of control cables are adequately addressed in maintenance legislation, and this AD is no longer required.
