AD/AT/4 Rudder Hinges Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AT/4.

AD/AT/4 Rudder Hinges - Inspection 5/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 7 May 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1983, required inspection of the rudder hinges in accordance with Snow Engineering Co. Service Letter No. 48.  The AD compliance was within a 100 time in service after 31 July 1983 and every year thereafter.  As the manufacturer's service letter did not require a repeat inspection, and a search of the SDR system revealed no defects of the rudder hinge for this aircraft type, this AD is no longer required.
