AD/AS 355/34 Amdt 1 Rotating Swashplate Bearing Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AS 355/34 Amdt 1.

AD/AS 355/34 Amdt 1 Rotating Swashplate Bearing 9/2009

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.
Background:	This Australian AD specified actions in accordance with SB No. 62-16.  These actions included lubrication of the swashplate bearing every 100 hours, and a visual inspection by the pilot after the last flight of the day.  French AD 89-156-039 (B) and USA AD 2004-05-23 refer.  The current Airworthiness Limitations Section of the Eurocopter AS 355 maintenance manual contains requirements for inspecting and lubricating the main rotor swashplate at intervals not exceeding 100 hours time-in-service.
