AD/Akro/1 Amdt 1 Airspeed Restriction Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AKRO/1 Amdt 1.

AD/AKRO/1 Amdt 1 Airspeed Restriction 6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1985, required an airspeed restriction placard to be placed adjacent to the airspeed indicator (ASI).  This placard could be removed if approved modifications were made to the aileron mass balance and to wing attachments.  Compliance was required before further flight after 7 October 1982.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
