AD/AC-CLA/5 Shock Strut Assembly 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique AD was raised in 1975 requiring the main landing gear shock strut to be disassembled and inspected for general condition.

Compliance was at next major inspection after 30 April 1975 and thereafter at each major inspection.

As only one defect has been recorded in the mandatory reporting system over an extended period, and routine maintenance covers this requirement, this AD is no longer required.
