AD/AC-CLA/3 Main Landing Gear Attachment Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AC-CLA/3.
Aircraft Parts and Development (CALL AIR) A-9 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/AC-CLA/3 | Main Landing Gear Attachment | 9/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, raised in 1967, required an inspection of main landing gear attachment points on the wing to fuselage struts following reports of cracking in the welded area. Compliance was at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS after 1 September 1971. As there have been no reports of cracking in the mandatory reporting system as a result of this AD, and Schedule 5 requirements are adequate, this AD is no longer required. |
