AD/AC-CLA/3 Main Landing Gear Attachment 9/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1967, required an inspection of main landing gear attachment points on the wing to fuselage struts following reports of cracking in the welded area.

Compliance was at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS after 1 September 1971.

As there have been no reports of cracking in the mandatory reporting system as a result of this AD, and Schedule 5 requirements are adequate, this AD is no longer required.
