AD/AC-CLA/1 Fore and Aft Canopy Tubes Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AC-CLA/1.

AD/AC-CLA/1 Fore and Aft Canopy Tubes 9/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1964, required a modification to the fore and aft cockpit canopy tubes by fitment of an energy absorbing material to improve pilot protection as recommended by a human factors and crashworthiness report.

Compliance was before 1 September 1971.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
