AD/AC/80 Amdt 1 Aileron Leading Edge Skin - Modification 9/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was originally raised in1983 against Gulfstream Aerospace Service Letter (SL) No. 357A, and Rockwell International Service Bulletin (SB) No. 178A.  These required inspection for cracks and modifications in the aileron leading edge skins in the area around the inboard balance weight attaching screws.

Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 31 July 1983.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
