AD/AC/72 Main Cabin Door Bayonet Rigging - Inspection 8/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in1980 against Rockwell International Service (also known as Aero Commander) Bulletin (SB) No. 176, required an inspection to ensure that all main cabin door moveable bayonets had proper penetration in fuselage retaining blocks.  Compliance was required within 25 hours TIS after 17 August 1980.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
