AD/AC/68 Elevator Bungee Springs - Inspection 8/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1978 against Rockwell International (also known as Aero Commander) Service Letter (SL) No. 225A, required an inspection of the elevator bungee springs to ensure bungee springs are in good condition and free from corrosion.  Also, that correct quantity of bungee springs were installed.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 30 September 1978.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
