AD/AC/46 Separation of Electrical Wiring from Fuel Line Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AC/46.
Twin Commander (Gulfstream/Rockwell/Aerocommander 500, 600 and 700) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/AC/46 | Separation of Electrical Wiring from Fuel Line | 8/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, raised in 1971 against Aero Commander Service Letter (SL) No. 240, required an inspection for proper installation of electrical wiring to ensure separation from fuel line. Compliance was within 200 hours TIS after 31 December 1971. As all affected aircraft would have been inspected by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required. |
