AD/AC/40 Engine Mount Yoke - Inspection 8/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1969 against Aero Commander Service Bulletin (SB) No. 94, required an inspection of the engine mount yolk for cracks in the area of the front engine mount bolt access holes and around area where mount assembly is bolted to yoke.  Should cracks be evident, engine mount yolks must be replaced.

Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 15 April 1969 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS.  As the inspection called for is covered by existing maintenance schedules, this AD is no longer required.
