AD/AC/35 Rudder Torque Tube - Modification 8/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1967 against Aero Commander Service Letter (SL) No. 203, required drilling a drain hole in the rudder torque tube as no provision was made for water drainage during manufacture, and this had led to internal corrosion of the torque tube.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after
7 September 1967.  As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
