AD/AC/32 Aileron Cable Drum Cable Retainer Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AC/32.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1967 against Aero Commander Service Bulletin (SB) No. 89, required a modification that installed a cable retainer on both aileron cable drums, located below the cabin floor between the control columns.

Compliance was forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
