AD/AC/16 Baggage Compartment and Rear Cabin Areas Corrosion Inspection and Elimination Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AC/16.
Twin Commander (Gulfstream/Rockwell/Aerocommander 500, 600 and 700) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/AC/16 | Baggage Compartment and Rear Cabin Areas - Corrosion Inspection and Elimination | 8/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, issued prior to 1961 against Aero Design (also known as Aero Commander) Service Bulletin (SB) No. 63, provided inspection procedures and corrective action if corrosion was present, or evidence existed to show water had leaked into either the baggage compartment or cabin areas. Compliance was required forthwith. As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required. |
