AD/AC-112/9 Wing Structure Rib Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AC-112/9.

AD/AC-112/9 Wing Structure - Rib - Inspection 9/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1978 against Rockwell International Service Bulletin (SB) No. 112-59, required an inspection and modification of wing leading edge rib due to possible cracking.

Compliance was to initially inspect within 100 hours TIS after 30 September 1978 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 100 hours TIS until modified.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
