AD/AC-112/5 Amdt 1 Fuel Selector Valve Inspection and Replacement Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AC-112/5 Amdt 1.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1977 against Rockwell International (also known as Aero Commander) Service Bulletin (SB) No. 112-44A, required an inspection and replacement of fuel selector valve to prevent possible fuel leakage.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 29 October 1976.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
