AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AC-112/11.
Gulfstream (Rockwell) 112 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/AC-112/11 | Elevator and Rudder Hinge Fittings - Inspection and/or Replacement | 9/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 28 August 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, raised in 1980 against Rockwell International Service Letter (SL) No. 112-46, required elevator and rudder hinge fitting inspection and/or replacement due to possible elongation of holes in hinge fittings and cracks in the rudder spar. Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 March 1980. As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, this AD is no longer required. |
