AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/AC/11.

Twin Commander (Gulfstream/Rockwell/Aerocommander 500, 600 and 700) Series Aeroplanes

AD/AC/11 Flap Pulley Assembly Right Inboard
Station 13.625 - Modification
8/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued prior to 1965 against Aero Design (also known as Aero Commander) Service Bulletin (SB) No. 55, required an inspection and modification to the right flap pulley assembly, located in the upper right side of the fuselage immediately aft of the baggage compartment, to prevent excessive wear on the pulley by the cable lock.

Compliance was forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
